On Friday, October 30, 2015, the Riverfrontiers gathered at REV Rose Bowl on Dougall Ave for our annual Bowlathon Fundraiser. Â It’s our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we usually book 10-12 lanes for our kids. Â We filled the place again, attracting the laughs and smiles of the folks around us, as our kids filtered in wearing their Halloween Costumes.
We are happy to announce that thanks to the support of our friends and families, we raised over $2300 at this year’s events! Â As always, funds raised go toward our seasonal expenses – theatre rental, costumes, sets, props, and so on! Â Thank you so much to everyone who donated this year!
Please enjoy the photos below of our entertaining and team-building fundraiser!
I managed to come up with an appropriate costume this year, that reflects my general feelings on life in RTC!
I believe we ended up with nearly forty bowlers – we weren’t missing very many of our kids. I got a fair number of photos, but welcome our families to share some that they were taking, and I’ll happily add them in.
I’m positive that at least SOME bowling took place:
But there was a lot of general mingling and costume happiness, of course:
Southland Insurance was kind enough to sponsor our prizes – most fundraising dollars raised, and in both Junior and Senior categories, best and funniest/cutest costume. Â Again, the night gets busy and my camera isn’t always out, but I have a few fun shots!
Congratulations to all the kids, for their wonderful costumes, and, more importantly, coming together to help raise awareness and support for the theatre company that we all love!
