Riverfront’s production of Disney’s Frozen Junior is set to open at the Olde Walkerville Theatre on Friday, February 21st! Rehearsals are smoothing out, beautiful costumes are having final fittings, the set is (literally) coming together, and we are nearly ready to rock!
We’re very excited to be “opening up the gates” to let our audiences in on Friday morning! We have two morning shows on Friday, February 21st, available for pre-booked seats only. These shows are marketed to schools and community groups. Homeschoolers are welcome. In the event of school strike, we will open the doors for general admission that morning.
Our real opening night will be Friday at 7 p.m., and then we’re trying something new – a Saturday sing-along matinee at 2 p.m. We’ll have our regular Saturday night show, and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. before closing. Tickets for all regular shows are available at the Olde Walkerville box office, online, by phone, and in person. The cost of admission is only $15 for adults, and $10 for students. Also available at the show is a by-donation bake sale.
Frozen Junior runs a little over an hour with a short intermission, and is an ideal first live theatrical experience for younger audience members. We invite our young guests to attend in costume if they like, and to interact with our cast members after all regular shows, in a meet and greet experience and photo opp. Be sure to share your photos with us on Twitter and Instagram using @RTCyouth!
We look forward to sharing this lovely experience with our audiences!
