On Saturday, July 16, 2016, Riverfront Theatre Company will be at Sobey’s on Manning Road for our third annual Car Wash. This year, we’ll have a tweak in the plan; it’s going to be a Wash & Smash.  Get your car washed by helpful Riverfrontiers, all the while, taking the opportunity to smash ours up with a sledgehammer.
With a Pontiac junker donated by John Yablonsky of Yablonsky’s Auto Clinic at 4355 Tecumseh Rd., we will host this bizarre and yet somehow exciting event for the first time.  For $5, you get two swings with a sledgehammer to do your worst to the poor car.
Before its demise in the morning, though, we wanted to be sure to make it as pretty as we could for our crowd.  The Riverfrontiers congregated at RTC HQ tonight to tackle the job. They came, paint and brushes in hand, and made their usual vibrant mark on their chosen tasks!
Please come on out, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, July 16th, at Sobey’s at Manning Road just off Amy Croft Drive, for our Double Whammy Car Wash and Smash. All funds raised will go toward the three productions in our upcoming 14th season!
