Hello, everyone!  We just wanted to announce that our registration day is this coming weekend, Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our new rehearsal space, 647 Ouellette, the Herb Gray Centre.  Please, though, be aware we must use the entrance on the Pelissier side of the street.
Our registrations are full for the Junior group, but we have openings, about six of them, in our Senior group. Â If you have a child between the ages of 11 and 18 (or ten, turning 11 before the end of the calendar year), and are able to make the commitment of rehearsing with us weekly between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. throughout most of the school year, RTC may be the place for your child.
The Senior students will take the stage twice this year – over Valentine’s Day weekend, and over the fourth weekend in May.  Specifics are related on our home page.  If you would like to register your student with RTC, please download our 2014-2015 Registration Packages – all students, and, if your student is in high school, get our Riverfront Theatre Company Community Involvement Hours Policy-2, as well.  Please print these off, fill them out, and meet us at the Herb Gray Centre.  We do have a limited number of openings, but will do our best to accommodate all newcomers.
On September 6th, registrants will be photographed, we’ll have a family meeting, and older students will have their dance auditions for Princess Whatsername. Please have your student wear stretchy pants (no jeans) and soft-soled footwear that stays securely on the foot (no flip flops! Dance shoes will eventually be required of all students).
Regrettably, as stated earlier, we have no openings at the Junior Level.
If you have any other questions, please refer to the welcome letter included in the registration package, and if you’re still scratching your head about something, email me at riverfronttheatrecompany@gmail.com.
