Riverfront opened Shrek the Musical at The Olde Walkerville Theatre last weekend, with the first four of eight shows (2 school shows, six public shows). Audiences are loving our brightly costumed, energetic, hard-working cast on stage!

With a cast of 39 students in this production, covering over 80 roles, the show is a never-ending series of costume changes and dazzling new appearances.  Our crowds have been laughing uproariously and thoroughly enjoying themselves with this show.

It was a monster to put on – so many costumes, such intense rehearsal!  But the results are more than worth it, and the kids are knocking it out of the park!

You have three more public shows to come see Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 28 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are available at the door an hour before each performance.

The show lasts two and a half hours (including intermission).
